Step One: Research and Recruiting
Before the search begins, we will arrange an in-person or phone meeting to discuss your specific needs and to draw up a profile of the person you wish to hire. To sharpen our understanding of the position, we will ask you a series of questions — we call it our search navigator — specifically designed to identify and prioritize target candidate characteristics.
During the recruiting process, we will provide progress reports and background presentations on qualified candidates. We will facilitate interviewing, check references when appropriate, give our input in terms of candidate interest level and suitability, and make recommendations with respect to compensation and relocation issues.
In most cases, the first round of referrals and interviews will take approximately three to six weeks.
Blueprint for a Successful Search
As specialists serving a niche-market of hospitals and software technologies, we know how to find high-achieving individuals and attract them to your organization. Here is a summary of how we work:
We want to be your long-term strategic partner. We view and measure our success by the lasting relationships we maintain. Lasting relationships require earning your trust, and trust is established when results are realized on a consistent basis.
We want to build a successful record of accomplishment with you by providing the best talent for your most critical positions. By leveraging our extensive relationships in the market, we can do this quickly and efficiently.
Step Two: Generating an Acceptable Offer
Once a mutual “fit” is established, our capture strategy goes into effect. What are the candidate’s needs, in terms of compensation, benefits and relocation assistance? Are there any concerns that need to be addressed to secure a commitment?
As difficult as it is to find the right person, our efforts will be wasted if the candidate turns you down or takes another offer. It is our job to work the hiring process, to ensure that whom you want is whom you get.
Step Three: Ensuring a Smooth Transition
Once your employment offer is accepted, we will do whatever is necessary to help the candidate resign from their old position, decline a counteroffer attempt, and assist in the transition to the new position.
At MJK Consultants LLC, we refer only those candidates who are sincerely interested in exploring the opportunity to join your team. We will not waste your time by presenting reluctant or counteroffer-prone candidates. We refer candidates with realistic employment expectations and culture compatibility.
